‘My Cupboard of Maggots’ is a hand-bound book written and illustrated by me, Ruby Ramm. The book explores the strange, haunting and surreal nature of recovery and relapse through storytelling and exists to encourage conversations and awareness around mental health disorders. Although the story reflects my own experiences and attitudes, the narrative, depicted through a series of mono-prints, is subjective to the reader’s own interpretation.
