‘Ntama’, which means ‘clothing, cloth or garment’ in the ‘Twi’ dialect spoken by my grandparents. This garment can be draped into many shapes and forms for various occasions. Drawing on my Ghanaian heritage, it is made out of ‘kente cloth’ fabric and the construction inspired by how kente cloth is traditionally draped in many different ways by the people of Ghana.  My garment uses the traditional Ghanaian textile, formed in an evolved way to create something new, modern and futuristic.  This evolution is enhanced with the presentation using AR, VR and 3D modelling. The associated website digitally preserves the histories and stories behind ‘kente cloth’ as told by my grandparents.
