‘How Do Animals See’ is an educational children’s picture book, exploring how different animals perceive colour and light. Each page has been carefully cut out and collaged using Risograph prints.

This book reveals what the world looks like from different animals viewpoints; ranging from the perspective of a tiger, who only see in green and blue, to the view of a bee, who see the world in Ultraviolet light. I wanted to visualise what humans cannot physically see and recreate these worlds in an abstract and surreal way. The moral of the book is for children to keep paying attention to what is around them and look out for all of nature’s hidden secrets.
