Inspired by Alma’s grandparent’s life in Italy, ‘Lana e Filo’ is a hand-drawn animation that explores traditional trades and the mix of pagan beliefs and catholicism in the majestic and isolated mountains of Abruzzo.
In the mountains of Abruzzo, a young shepherd brings back a wayward sheep that separated from its flock. Amidst the Apennines, he encounters an enigmatic seamstress, and his sheep once again gets the shepherd in trouble.
