Creating beauty from destruction – St Marks Church and its community experienced tragedy when a fire broke out that burnt the roof off the building and left the structure empty with only its outer walls still standing.
My intention was to resurrect the building by creating a space that could still be used as a Church for Sunday service but on other days, a multi-purpose hall – musical performance, weddings and corporate entertainment.
