My practice is based around nature and trees because I have always found this to be my biggest source of inspiration. My practice includes printmaking, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media as multiple ways to show nature and trees through art. Growing up, I found going to parks and forests to be a calming and peaceful environment and as such, it has been the thing that has connected me to my artwork. I am currently working on a type of printmaking called woodcutting where I have made only wood plates instead of prints because the natural element of the wood makes me feel connected to nature.

For my degree show, I have displayed 10 woodcuts, that vary in size to show the middle parts of trees. This work means a lot to me as I have created something I love that connects to my chosen themes of nature and trees.
