I have made an outfit created out of three garment components that all layer over each other to create a full look. I have used fabrics and silhouettes based of my research like my family’s links to corduroy and the box pleating from the drees my family has shared. I have used beaded aspect in the skirt like the samples I originally made based of my self harm scars, and the box plates have red fabric underneath them that are exposed through movement of the wearer showing what I have hidden from my mum and their linking to the area of the Johari window I wanted to focus on (the façade).
