For my FMP , I have designed a recipe book titled ‘ how to cook a fish.’ Its purpose is to draw you into what you think will be a step by step cookbook , when in reality the contents reveal the step by step process of catching fish as a commercial fisherman in the north sea. I wanted to make people understand the difficulties of the job, and to question their understanding of the job when buying, cooking, and eating fish themselves. I wanted it to remove the sugar-coating that the job is given and for the reader to realise how tough life at sea can really be and therefore to appreciate the fish produce they have and question the reality of the process which takes place.
