In my short film, “Goodbye,” I delve into the universal theme of grief, portraying the challenge of expressing complex emotions that defy words. Through the medium of film, I illustrate the profound connection and emotional resonance that transcends language. The story follows a young girl coping with loss, initially attempting to convey her feelings through a goodbye letter. However, she soon realises that her struggle to find the right words reflects her reluctance to let go. “Goodbye” emphasises the emotive power of film to convey shared experiences and unite us in our deepest emotions.
