The END is on all our minds. Will it commence in PLAGUE? In NUCLEAR armageddon? In a SOLAR flare? Or something else?
Those who PROMISE the end, who claim to know the exact date or even an approximation of when or where have WEAPONIZED this common feeling.
I propose a future where doomsayers have banded together, and created an institution. THE NATIONAL CENTRE FOR DOOM SPEAKING needs a home.
It will sit alongside other beloved institutions like the National Theatre, the British Museum, and the Monarchy.
It will provide a similar function.
THE NATIONAL CENTRE FOR DOOM SPEAKING is where we will gather to be overwhelmed, and crushed into a new, certain, version of the future.
