Why do people still eat British food? Why is it still popular?

Starting FMP, I was sceptical of British food and couldn’t understand the appeal of it’s boring, greasy, flavourless dishes.

Researching the stories with the cuisine and the reasons for its key characteristics has taught me to appreciate British food, and I’ve learnt that the traits I regarded as flaws are also its strengths.

Although British food isn’t necessarily the best food ever, it still deserves appreciation for the comfort and uncomplicated food it provides. The napkin publication I created aims to give a voice to British food, letting the cuisine speak for itself.
