I explore my family’s and own personal archive to create evocative visual experiences, intended to be relatable to many. Something which started as an endeavour of establishing my own personal history and identity, but has now become a practice which can be accessed and related to the viewer. The work is mainly photographic, however also explores moving image, archives, curation and found objects. I have a background stemming from documentary photography and have participated in the ‘Page and Space: Publication as Exhibition’ project for the past two years. So image based publications have become a prevalent format for the work. I also enjoy documenting socialisation and the concept of ‘home’ in whichever form it’s manifested.
