My documentary focuses on family relationships, capturing

my one-month stay in Taiwan from a first-person perspective.

It documents my experiences and observations during

that time. The voice-over narrates my internal struggles

and conflicts as my mindset evolved over the month.

Additionally, I incorporated my father’s diary entries from

over thirty years ago into the voice-over, creating an inter

temporal dialogue between us. This merging of perspectives

forms a unique conversation spanning different eras.

The documentary also features photographs I took in

Taiwan, primarily from my old house. I wrote my father’s

diary entries on these photographs to simulate a period of

confusion and anxiety he experienced in his twenties while

living in the same house. This approach aims to create

a dialogue between us, allowing us to see each other’s

shadows in two different times and connect in a special

way across generations.

Photographer and artist exploring themes of self-awareness, feminism, psychoanalysis, environment, and nature.

My artistic focus revolves around the exploration of profound human connections and familial dynamics. Through performance art, experimental video, ceramics, and photography, I aim to capture the nuanced emotions and complexities inherent in the human experience.
