A collection of bright colours and bold stripes inspired by the beach. Taking common objects like the beach umbrella, towels and sun loungers to create unconventional silhouettes that reflect the carefree nature beach holidays give off. I spent most of my holidays growing up on the beach and I wanted to capture the memories, visuals and excitement that I still feel now going to the coats. Each look in the collection is very different from one another as this reflects busyness felt and the amount of different activities happening, almost like a visual overload. This is a women’s wear collection however i have designed clothing that challenged silhouette enhancing proportions but still playing with femininity of colours and shapes. I wanted this collection to be fun and outgoing to represent how I believe fashion should be seen. There are no limits when it comes to clothing and fashion which is what I have aimed to embrace.
