Throughout my project I explored the creativity in the west of Ireland, starting off looking at the creativity born out of the oppression during the troubles in Northern Ireland, leading me eventually to the creatives in the west of Ireland and their process. The sheep’s wool sourced from Ireland allowed me to be able to bring back a materialistic element of my journey, from my environment I felt most connected to my project in. As I needle felted the material it grew, reflecting how my knowledge also grew through this project and visiting Ireland with intensions to learn more. Along side my publications as they allow for context I feel was very important to share. Enclosed in an envelope hard to open to reflect how this information about the west of Ireland is hard to access.
