In the history of life’s evolution, ferns are considered miracles. At the Davies Exploration House in Kew Gardens, the wondrous world of ferns is brought to life through a 3D animation projected onto a fabric installation. This interactive installation uses an Arduino to connect to the fern, switching between a microscopic view of the fern growing and an X-ray inspired view of fern. Audiences can immerse themselves in the extraordinary experience of becoming fern by touching the ferns or stepping into the projected animation.
